blokhaus C with sound objects is designed to be performed by 10 artists.

Certain sound structures are produced using various types of sound objects (PVC pipes, singing bowls, aluminum bowls, crystals, construction rods, metal chimney flues). Musicians will be performing from prearranged places, however, during the performance some movement and spatial rearrangement will be possible. The entire performance will be directed by the composer.

Artur Zagajewski is a composer and music theorist born in 1978. He graduated with honours from studies in music theory and composition at the Academy of Music in Łódź. Zagajewski studied electronic music and took part in master classes given by Prof. Marek Chołoniewski (Academy of Music in Kraków) and Grażyna Pstrokońska-Nawratil (Academy of Music in Wrocław). He is the winner of numerous awards including the 850 Jahre Cottbus – Musikalische Bilder einer Stadt International Composition Competition (honourable mention, 2006), the 48th and 50th editions of the Tadeusz Baird Young Composers Competition (second prize in 2007 and 2009), 3rd Grażyna Bacewicz International Composition Competition in Łódź (first prize, 2009). His compositions were performed at festivals such as: the Warsaw Autumn, the Loop Festival (Brussels), Fokus Łódź Biennale, 11th International Festival of Acoustic, Electronic Music and Multimedia Projection in Brno (Czech Republic) and Sound Screen Festival (Bydgoszcz).
