The world premiere of Let the Artists Die is held at the Alte Giesserei Kabelmetal in Nuremberg on June 2. Presentations of Let the Artists Die at Teatro dell`Arte in Milan, at Lycée Aubanel in Avignon, at the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, at La Mama ETC in New York City.
Presentations of Wielopole, Wielopole at Demetrius in Thesaloniki.
Presentations of The Dead Class at Jaffa Harbour Theatre in Tel-Aviv.
T. Kantor’s individual exhibit takes place at the Festival d`Avignon in Avignon.
 
1986
The Cricot 2 Theatre’s Festival “L’atessa molto importante” at Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari, holding presentations of The Dead ClassWielopole, Wielopole, and Let the Artists Die. Simultaneously, a symposium for over a dozen critics and T. Kantor’s exhibit take place at Galeria Bonomo. The Cricot 2 Theatre presents Wielopole, Wielopole at Theatemanufaktur in West Berlin and Let the Artists Die at the Stodoła Club in Warsaw, at Teatr Słowackiego in Cracow, at Teatro dell`Arte in Milan, at Teatro Colosseo in Turin, at Théâtre National Populaire in Lyon – Villeurbanne, at Maison de la Culture in Grenoble, at Theatermanufaktur in West Berlin, at de Singel in Antwerp, and at Teatro Comunale di Ferrara in Ferrara.
A symposium, “Tadeusz Kantor’s Art”, organized at the Silesian University in Katowice (June 10 and 11) and in Antwerp (October 25).
For a month Kantor is giving lectures at Civica Scuola d`Arte Drammatica Paolo Grassi in Milan, where he prepares The Wedding (Cricotage) with the students.
Individual exhibitions held at Galleria di Milano in Milan (April 10 to 27) and at Galerie Eva Poll in West Berlin (August 31 to September 28).
 
1987
The Cricot 2 Theatre presents Wielopole, Wielopole at Mercat de les Flors in Barcelona, at Parque de la Marga in Santander and Let the Artists Die at Teatr Polski in Wrocław, at Mercat de les Flors in Barcelona, at Metropol in Vienna, at Théâtre de la Salamandre in Lille, at Teatro Ayala in Bilbao, at Teatro delle Compagnia in Florence, and at Teatro Municipal General San Martin in Buenos Aires.
Arrangements for staging The Machine of Love and Death (Cricotage) in Milan. Premiere held on June 13 and 14 at the Spiel Räume Theatrical Festival, which accompanied the “Documenta 8” exhibition at Staatstheater in Kassel, followed by presentations of that Cricotage at Teatro Litta in Milan, at Teatro Ariosto in Reggio Emilia, and at Teatro Biondo in Palermo.
?Oggetti e macchine del teatro di Tadeusz Kantor? exhibition held at Museo Internazionale delle Marionette in Palermo. 
Rehearsals for I Shall Never Return take place in Cracow.
